Keep reading!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Main characteristics of pool sand filters<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This type of filter uses sand as a filtering agent inside its tank.to retain the impurities present in the pool\u2019s water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At GRE, we offer you a range of compact, easy to install and use pool <\/span><b>sand filters<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. They do not require special care and can be fitted to any removable pool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>sand filter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> monobloc holds a complete filtration set that includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Pump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Filter (with a capacity of 4,000 liters per hour at 180 W power).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; 5-Way selector valve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Manometer (pressure gauge).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is mounted on a plastic bench with all the necessary pipe fittings. They are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Backwash<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this position, the water inside the filter flows in the opposite direction of the filter and into the drain. This function removes any impurities from the <\/span><b>sand filter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The process will be completed when the water being drained becomes clear (approximately 2 minutes). We recommend you use the backwash function at least once a week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Rinse<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon completing the backwash process above, place the valve in the \u201cRinse\u201d position for 30 seconds to completely rid the piping of any dirt\/impurities. Once that is done, place the valve lever in the \u201cFilter\u201d position.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Filter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this mode, the water is filtered and returned clean through the return valve into the pool. This is the function\/position the filter unit will remain in most of the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Drain<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this position, the water goes directly into the drain without passing through the filter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This option is ideal:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 If you notice a lot of dirt accumulated at the bottom of the pool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 To lower the water level when (for any reason) it is above the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grepool.com\/en\/skimmer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">skimmer<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 To drain the pool completely.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Shut<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this mode, the water is shut off from the filter unit.
