To do this, there are several methods which are explained below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Look at the <strong>pump basket<\/strong> when it is running. The steps to follow are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Disconnect or <strong>switch off the filter<\/strong> and <strong>close all the suction valves<\/strong>, such as the skimmer. <em>Except for the discharge valve<\/em>, so that the water drains into the sewer.<\/li>\n<li>Switch the <strong>selector valve<\/strong> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grepool.com\/en\/filters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filter<\/a> to the circulation or flushing position.<\/li>\n<li>Open the lid of the <strong>pump basket<\/strong> and <em>fill it with water up to the top<\/em> to prevent it from filling with air. Once this has been done, close it properly again.<\/li>\n<li><em>Open the skimmer valve and swich on the <\/em><strong>filter<\/strong>.
